Raised floors: This type of flooring consists of adjustable pedestals supporting panels with a covering (PVC, linoleum, rubber, galvanized steel, lacquered steel, stone, wood, etc.).
Generally measuring 500×500 mm or 600×600 mm, the panel cores can be made of wood chipboard, calcium sulfate, cement, steel, polypropylene, etc. The panels rest on the pedestals and can be lifted using suction cups, providing access to the service area. Their main use is in offices and technical areas.
The adjustable pedestals can be made of metal (galvanized steel, aluminum) or polypropylene and can be braced with metal crossbeams. They can be mechanically or chemically fixed to the existing substrate.
